Had an absolutely wonderful time on my 8/26 half day adventure. Captain Trevor and naturalist Paul were extremely personable, funny, and knowledgeable. The Saratoga boat is a beautiful ship with comfortable indoor seating, spacious top deck, and well maintained bathrooms. We were able to see a few humpback whales, puffins, and killer whales just off the coast of Vancouver Island. This was my third time whale watching, and this company provided the best tour by far. Well worth the time and price point!

Had a wonderful time on our first whale watching cruise. We did the all day tour with a two hour lunch stop in San Juan Islands. So glad we did because it was beautiful day on the island with a great lunch. Thanks to Captain Trevor and Wendy for a wonderful day whale watching. Highly recommend the all day trip along with the Sherri’s Famous Blueberry Buckle and if you buy a coffee cup for 8.00 you get unlimited coffee and can bring bring back on another trip. Thanks again Pugent Sound Express.

Excellent experience! From the blueberry buckle to the crew to the whales…couldn’t have been more happy! We were on our whale watch in mid-September and had a very friendly, professional, & knowledgeable crew. We were able to see several humpbacks & a pod of orcas, not to mention a few seals, a fried egg jellyfish, & a bear on shore! Highly recommend PSE!

Really great excursion! Online ticket purchase, check-in, seat assignments, and safety info all smooth and professional. The ship is clean and comfortable. Good snacks and beverages at decent prices. EXCELLENT guiding information by the Naturalist and Captain; very personable, responsive, and great with children. And the whales did a nice job of entertaining us all!

Our family had a very relaxing time whale watching. The captain of the boat made it such a great experience for all of us. We saw killer whales, hump back whales, sea lions and puffins just to name a few. The boat was full but not crowded, had coffee and hot chocolate on the boat which was nice for the chilly morning. We will be back!

Our family had a great time on our tour with Puget sound express (port Townsend)! We took our 4 girls (ages 7,5,3 &6mo) with us and they loved it! We had originally planned for lots of hiking in the Olympic National park but swapped a day of hiking for the tour. We’re so glad we did!! We’re a military family that was vacationing near Sequim. Our boat was the Saratoga. It was very nice and clean. We all shared 2 blueberry buckles and hot chocolate, cider and coffee that was delicious. We were able to bring our own snacks/lunch so that was nice also. On our tour we saw humpback whales, killer whales, and harbor seals! As well as other birds. The staff was informative and helpful and we’d love to take another tour if we get the chance to come up this way again!

I highly recommend booking a whale watching tour with this company if this is the sort of activity you’re interested in. We had an absolute blast. Saw a “trifecta” during our tour ( 3 different species). Crew was super knowledgeable and friendly. Ship was clean and didn’t feel crowded at all. Hot coffee, snacks, and an outstanding blueberry pie thing available for purchase. Definitely worth it.

We saw Orcas! We had a group reservation which was easy to set up, very comfortable seats and tables, many windows and a deck, with rails, for viewing. The captain(several crew members also certified as captains) and crew were very knowledgeable, being naturalists, about the orcas and the family pods, their differences and quirks. Great experience!
